Terrible About Updating...
Geez. I am really bad about updating this. Sorry about that.
Well, let's see... where to begin. Not much has changed around here. Mike is still working pretty long hours, in fact, if he gets home before 10pm we call that an early night.
Maggie is an absolute monster. No kidding. She's cute, blonde and blue-eyed, but a complete monster. In fact, if she had been our first child - we would NOT have had anymore. Thank goodness Ethan and Katie are, for the most part, pretty good kids. LOL
Maggie and I went with Michael today when he did an appraisal in Visalia. On our way home we stopped at Marie Callender's for lunch. Maggie was very cute and quiet, but she refuses to drink from one of those cups with a straw in the lid unless she can tip it up. This causes whatever she is drinking to dribble out on her and the table, making a bit of a mess. If to try to show her that she can drink out of it without tipping it - she gets very upset and throws herself backwards in her chair, pouting.
We think she is going into the "terrible twos" - and believe me, that cute little grin is the ONLY thing that is saving her little butt right now.
Last Friday we were out at a store shopping for Mother's Day, Maggie was getting tired and fussy. After being passed back and forth between Ethan and I numerous times, she proceeded to bit me not once but TWICE in the shoulder. Yes, it bruised. No, I didn't drop-kick her down the aisle, although I really, REALLY, wanted to. Instead, I sent her out to the car with Ethan.
Ugh... all this and she is ONLY 16 months old.
